Essential Travel Tips

Preparation is key for a great Ladakh experience

Acclimatization (AMS)

Leh is at 11,500 ft. It is crucial to rest for the first 24-48 hours. Drink plenty of water and avoid heavy physical activity to prevent altitude sickness.

Clothing & Essentials

Weather can change rapidly. Dress in layers. Even in summer, carry a heavy jacket for passes and nights. Don't forget sunscreen and sunglasses!

Inner Line Permits

Most popular areas require permits. We facilitate this for our guests, but ensure you carry valid ID proofs (Aadhar/Voter ID) in original.

Connectivity

Only postpaid connections (BSNL, Airtel, Jio) work in Ladakh. Many remote areas like Pangong have no mobile signal.
